In August 2023 I treated myself to a Cruise on the World’s newest Cruise Line! Let me show you what a Cruise on Explora 1 is like! Explora Journeys offers a unique travel experience, blending luxury cruising with exploration. Passengers embark on immersive journeys to discover diverse landscapes, cultures and natural wonders!

I took a short taster cruise, from Hamburg in Germany back to Southampton in the UK, over 3 nights on board. My embarkation Vlog, shows me joining this beautiful , luxurious new ship. A first look around, showing you the goodies you can expect in your suite when you embark, this is definitely a cruise line on which you are spoilt from the moment you set foot on board!

The first Port of call on Explora 1 was Rotterdam, in the Netherlands. Let me show you what a Shore excursion - Beautiful Kaag Lakes in the Green Heart of Holland is like! At $190 each, this is no cheap shore excursion, however it was definately high up there are one of my favourite!

During a sea day between Rotterdam and Southampton, I took the opportunity to explore the ship further and in this Vlog I show you more of this beautiful Ship!

I stayed in an entry level Suite on Explora 1, this is the cheapest suite on board! That being said, there is nothing cheap about this suite! It is beautiful, let me show you around in my Ocean Terrace Suite Tour!

Sadly, all too soon, we docked in Southampton and it was soon time to disembark this fantastic new Cruise Ship and fantastic new Cruise Line. On this early cruise , there were some teething problems, as many crew on board had been taken from luxury hotels ashore, however I’ve heard that service is now to Ultra Luxury Cruise standard, so I can not wait to head back on board someday soon!
