Farewell Oriana

In my time as a P&O Cruiser, Artemis, Adonia and now Oriana have all move on to pastures new!

However having only seen my parents photos of the ships, Oriana is different. I’ve cruised on her main times and with her moving to China, it is unlikely I’ll sail past her much on my travels!

Adonia, having her refit in H&W in Belfast, to become Azamara Pursuit operated by Azamara Club Cruises

The old Artemis reversing around P&O Arcadia in Madeira. She become Artania operated by Phoenix Reisen in 2011.

I will thoroughly miss Oriana. She is a gorgeous little ship and I’ve enjoyed many happy times on her from the Canaries, the Atlantic Coast, the Norwegian Fjords, to the Faroe Isles, Ireland and the British Isles.

I can’t really put my finger on it, but Oriana was just beautiful. Different, elegant, small-ish and fabulous.

I wish her well in China and wish all who continue to travel on her happy Cruising!
