Princess Cruises have announced three new itineraries for Regal Princess this Autumn.

Following the Canadian Transport Ministry’s Interim Order , closing Canadian ports and waters to passenger ships, Princess have had to cancel a 24 night Canadian adventure cruise this Autumn.

It has now been replaced by three, new, exciting voyages. All will depart from Southampton , UK and will go on sale on 2nd March 2021.

The following Cruises will be available to book:

• A 12 night Canary Islands Cruise, calling at Vigo, Madeira, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Lisbon. It departs on 18th September 2021. Prices start at £899pp.
• A 7 night Spain and France cruise, calling at La Rochelle, Bilbao, La Coruna and Guernsey. It departs on 30th September. Prices start at £499pp.
• A 5 night Belgium and Netherlands Sampler Cruise, calling at Zeebrugge (for Brussels/Bruges) Rotterdam and Guernsey. It Departs on 7th October. Prices start at £399pp.

Are you thinking about booking one of these cruises? I am really tempted by the sampler cruise, I’ve never been to Rotterdam or cruised with Princess! I’d love to try out Regal Princess. I floated the idea earlier with the Husband and for the first time, talking about booking a cruise, I didn’t get an eye roll! I have 5 days to see if he heads along with me, otherwise the single passengers fares seem good, doing a mock booking with the Regal Princess sampler Cruise later in October. I do get a lot more annual leave than him. I wouldn’t be cruel enough to just not let him come!

On all these cruise aboard Regal Princess, customers will have the opportunity to upgrade to the all inclusive added value fare called Princess Plus. It will cost £35 pp a day for unlimited premium drinks, unlimited wifi and gratitudes. Sounds like a good upgrade to me, in order to not have to worry about any added costs to the cruise. Princess reports, Vice President for Princess Cruises UK & Europe, Tony Roberts said : ‘We added these new itineraries based on the strong demand from UK guests for our 2021 ex-UK season. While we share our guests’ disappointment over the cancelled Canadian Adventure Voyage, we’re pleased to be able to offer our guests even more choice of sailings from Southampton for this year.’

If you were due to sail on the cancelled Canadian Adventure Voyage? A alternative 25 night Canada and New England cruise aboard Sky Princess will depart on 24th September. The cruise will sail a round trip from Southampton and will include an overnight stay in New York City, and other ports of call such as Boston, Rhode Island and Maine in the USA. You will also visit Corner Brook, Sydney, Prince Edward Island, Bay of Fundy, Halifax and Newfoundland in Canada. I’ve yet to do such an adventure, my parents have aboard P&O Arcadia a few years ago and loved it! The only problem was returning to normal life after disembarkation! I dread to think what that feeling is like returning home after a World cruise!

If you’re umming and ahhing about it, do it, if this last year can teach you anything , let it be to seize the day and embrace any opportunity! And let’s face it you won’t regret booking a cruise!
