Princess Cruises is to make an additional Seacation themed, the line announced today. The comedy cruise will feature a line-up of popular comedians alongside comedy-themed entertainment onboard.
Sailing August 7 – 10, 2021 aboard Regal Princess, three stand-up comedians will headline the cruise, with multiple performances taking place throughout the voyage as part of a ‘Comedy Variety Show’.

The line-up comprises of:

·Jenny Eclair – comedian and novelist, best known for her roles in Grumpy Old Women and Loose Women.
·Tom Binns – star and creator of BBC1 comedy series Hospital People and regular guest on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
· Jeff Stevenson – appeared on TV shows including Only Fools and Horses and has provided stand-up comedy performances to audiences across the world for over three decades.

In addition, onboard entertainment will include an open mic night, famous comedian trivia and comedy gameshows such as ‘yes or no’ and ‘the marriage match’.
Criminal barrister and TV personality Rob Rinder will also be speaking on the August 7 departure as part of Princess Cruises’ Encounter with Discovery at Sea speaker programme.

Other themed cruises for Princess’ Summer Seacations include ‘Culinary Stars’ with TV presenters and chefs John Torode and Michel Roux Jr., alongside GBBO’s Lottie Bedlow, departing September 10 on Sky Princess; and ‘Mind, Body and Soul’ with TV doctor Dr Ranj; The Chase’s Jenny Ryan; and The Reverend Kate Bottley, departing August 21 on Regal Princess.

The CTA is a long-standing arrangement between the UK, the Crown Dependencies and Ireland that pre-dates both British and Irish membership of the EU and is not dependent on it.
**Vaccine policy
Given the advanced progress of the UK vaccination programme and strong expressed preference on the part of our guests for this limited series of UK coastal cruises, these UK sailings on Regal Princess and Sky Princess (running from July 31 through to September 28) will be for UK and CTA resident, COVID-19 vaccinated guests only.
For these cruises the definition of “vaccinated” is a minimum of seven days following the second dose of the currently approved COVID-19 vaccines being administered. Proof of vaccination and the dates given will be required (approved forms of evidence will be confirmed closer to time of departure) and this will be required to be shown at the terminal prior to boarding. Failure to provide this evidence will result in denial of boarding. There is no age restriction on this series of UK coastal cruises but all guests of all ages must meet the requirements of the COVID-19 vaccination policy.
All other Princess Cruises holidays currently on sale do not require guests to be vaccinated.
