Have you been to Jersey?
If you enjoy quiet downtime, good food and beautiful scenery, both countryside and coastal then think no further, treat yourself to a short break or weekend to Jersey!
We flew out on Friday evening from London City airport for a quick direct flight straight to the island. You can just as easily fly from the other London airports including ‘London’ Southend. Fares booked closer to time of travel can be a little more expensive but I can assure you it will be worth it!
On arrival to the island, you can grab a cab or even the number 15 bus into town. Cabs can be expensive but if you don’t know where you’re going, probably best to treat yourself! The buses are great, a regular service, clean and cheerful drivers, you will be able to buy your fare with cash or use your contactless card. Extremely convenient.
The main town on Jersey is St Helier, the island itself is split into 12 parishes. All have a coastline and all are beautiful!
The culture of Jersey seems to be chill at the coast and eat some fine food!
So book yourself some flights then explore http://www.jersey.com for ideas of where to stay, what to do and most importantly where got eat!
