Celestyal Announces New Winter Mediterranean Cruises for 2027

Celestyal has announced a new programme of winter Mediterranean cruises onboard Celestyal Journey, including the return of its Three Continents itinerary in a refreshed format.

The new programme will begin in December 2027 and includes seven and 14 night itineraries visiting destinations across Greece, Turkey, Egypt and Cyprus.

The 1,260 guest Celestyal Journey will operate four seven night Mediterranean Mosaics cruises between Athens and Istanbul. Guests will also be able to combine consecutive sailings to create a 14 night Three Continents Explorer cruise.

Bookings opened on 1 September 2026.

Mediterranean Mosaics from Athens

Two seven night cruises will depart from Athens on 4 and 18 December 2027.

The itinerary includes:

  • Athens
  • Alexandria, with an overnight stay
  • Limassol
  • Rhodes
  • Istanbul

Prices currently start from £629 per person.

Mediterranean Mosaics from Istanbul

A second version of the seven night itinerary will depart Istanbul on 11 and 25 December 2027.

It visits:

  • Istanbul, with an overnight stay
  • Thessaloniki
  • Volos
  • Kusadasi
  • Heraklion
  • Athens

Prices currently start from £629 per person.

Three Continents Explorer returns

Celestyal is also bringing back its Three Continents concept with three 14 night Three Continents Explorer cruises.

The longer itinerary combines the two Mediterranean Mosaics sailings and visits destinations in Europe, Asia and Africa during a single cruise.

Ports include Athens, Alexandria, Limassol, Rhodes, Istanbul, Thessaloniki, Volos, Kusadasi and Heraklion.

Departures are scheduled for 4, 11 and 18 December 2027, with two round trip Athens itineraries and one round trip Istanbul itinerary.

Prices currently start from £1,099 per person.

What is included?

Celestyal says fares for the new cruises include meals, soft drinks with meals, essential WiFi, port fees and gratuities.

The announcement follows the launch of Celestyal Discovery’s first dedicated Western Mediterranean programme, which is due to operate during the winter 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons.

Janet Parton, Celestyal’s vice president of marketing, PR and customer experience, said the new programme would offer guests more choice across the Mediterranean and described the opportunity to visit Europe, Asia and Africa during one holiday as particularly special.

Celestyal Journey accommodates 1,260 guests and is one of two ships currently operated by the cruise line.

The new winter 2027 Mediterranean sailings are now available to book.
