Killybegs

Today I cruised into Killybegs, Ireland.

Despite a 01:00 finish last night… (5 of us were possibly the only passengers still awake at 01:00) I awoke at around 07:00 without an alarm. As I’d left the curtains ajar hoping for sunshine to awake me in the morning. It did.

I headed down to the prom deck to do a few laps and take a few photos during the sail in.

Before long I realised the Pilot was heading towards the ship so stopped to watch.

Brave man!

A few more fab photo opportunities then it was definitely a feeding time…

Time for breakfast. Monday is my favourite. Eggs Benedict day ๐Ÿ˜‹

After all this constant eating it was time for another prom deck stroll to give our wonderful Cabin steward Honorato a chance to freshen up the cabin.

Did my good deed for the day. Assisted a woman struggling with her new smartphone camera. Can’t have someone on a cruise without a camera!

Afterwards headed ashore, decided to walk into town as it didn’t look far, it wasn’t , a flat walk of less than a mile along the coast. A few ship mates got caught in a torrential downpour, luckily I missed it!

Had a potter around the beautiful little town. A local hotel were hosting a craft fair and some local young ladies were doing some Irish dancing.

During my potter heading back towards the ship I went slightly off the beaten track. A lovely little walk back.

Then couldn’t resist taking some photographs of beautiful Oriana!

Now back on board, have enjoyed a leisurely small lunch in Al fresco and have chilled on the balcony with a Strawberry Daiquiri.

Tonight we sail for Greenock.
